New York Mets gear isn’t just a fashion symbol, it’s a badge of honor.

So, On one day leading up to the season, The Mets (known as the Amazin’ Mets) turned the Mets hat into a key that unlocked NYC. A citywide takeover that encouraged fans—both old and new—to wear a Mets hat to experience some of the most amazing and iconic institutions of NYC.
